Account & Data Deletion

Employee accounts in RAKZ are generally linked to an organization or workspace rather than open consumer registration. The employer organization may therefore participate in deactivation or deletion where it controls employee data.

How to request deletion or deactivation

  • Contact your organization's RAKZ administrator or HR team first when the account belongs to the organization.
  • You may also email info@wessaal.com with the subject: RAKZ Account/Data Deletion Request.
  • Provide enough information to identify the account, such as your name, organization, and the email or phone linked to the account. Do not send a password or OTP.

What happens next

We review the request, verify authority, and assess the organization's role in the data. Where the organization controls employee data, we may coordinate with its authorized representative. After verification, access can be deactivated and data can be deleted or de-identified according to the data type, instructions, and applicable legal or contractual requirements.

Data that may need to be retained

Immediate deletion of every record may not be possible where legitimate legal, contractual, financial, security, or employer-controlled attendance-record obligations apply. In those cases, retention is limited to what is necessary for the applicable purpose and period.

Subscription cancellation is different

Organization subscription management happens through WESSAAL. Cancelling or changing a commercial subscription does not automatically mean every employee record is deleted, and an individual account-deletion request does not by itself cancel the organization's subscription.
